About Sistas With Goals Inc.

Our Mission

At Sistas With Goals Inc., our mission is to uplift and empower individuals in need by providing access to essential resources, support services, and educational opportunities. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to rebuild their lives, regardless of their past. Through partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and volunteers, we offer programs focused on housing assistance, job training, legal advocacy, and trauma support—helping individuals and families thrive.

Our Vision

  • Job Training Demand: With the competitive job market, more people are seeking opportunities to enhance their skills. Our job training program specifically addresses the needs of low-income communities, giving them the tools to secure stable employment.
  • Interest in Entrepreneurship: Many individuals facing unemployment are turning to entrepreneurship. Our entrepreneurship training program provides the guidance and resources necessary to turn business ideas into reality.
  • Small Business Development Focus: Small businesses are critical to economic growth. Our small business development services help aspiring entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of starting and growing businesses.
  • Community Outreach: Networking and building support systems are essential for those struggling with unemployment. Our community outreach events create opportunities for individuals to connect, share experiences, and access valuable resources.
  • Need for Resources: Low-income families often face significant barriers to accessing resources. Our community resource services provide vital information and support to help individuals overcome obstacles and improve their lives.
  • Trauma & Victim Support: Our trauma and victim services focus on recovery, legal assistance, counseling, and sheltering. We understand that healing is complex, and our dedicated team is committed to ensuring safety and wellness for those in need, particularly in combating sex crimes and abuse.

SWG Inc. offers around-the-clock counseling and police assistance, provided by staff who have lived experience with trafficking. This foundation of trust and empathy is vital for delivering effective, compassionate support.

To ensure the highest standards of safety and impact, it's crucial to offer comprehensive staff training, establish strong coordination with law enforcement, and enforce strict confidentiality protocols. Building partnerships with local organizations can also expand the program’s reach and strengthen its long-term sustainability, ensuring that survivors receive consistent care over time.

This integrated approach—bringing together law enforcement collaboration, mental health support, and temporary shelter—reflects a well-considered response to the complex realities trafficking survivors face. Strong ties with local police allow for rapid intervention, while access to licensed counselors ensures professional mental health care. Thorough background checks for staff provide an added layer of safety and accountability.

Together, these elements position your initiative to deliver critical support at the most vulnerable moments, helping survivors begin the journey toward recovery and justice.
